As an Office Assistant, you will support our office's day-to-day operations. Under the supervision of the Office Manager, you will ensure smooth office functioning, handle administrative tasks, and maintain a professional and welcoming environment for staff and visitors. We are seeking a proactive and skilled administrative professional to join the Finance & Administration team, which consists of 10 staff members and a dog.
This role is dynamic, with new challenges and experiences every day. You should not be afraid to take on diverse tasks—from assisting with the coordination of large events to assembling furniture.
Tasks and responsibilities:
• Overseeing the maintenance of the Centre’s apartments, including arranging repairs, and communication with property owners and partners
• Managing incoming phone calls, emails, and other office communications
• Performing various administrative tasks to support efficient office functioning, including document preparation, data entry, and basic reporting tasks
• Coordinating external service providers, such as IT support, cleaning services, and others to ensure the office environment is clean, organised, and well-maintained
• Monitoring and managing office supplies, placing orders as needed
• Assisting in organising office events and activities
• Welcoming and assisting visitors, ensuring a friendly and professional experience
Qualifications and requirements:
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and take initiative, reliability
• Flexibility and adaptability, including ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Word and Excel
• Proficiency in Czech (spoken and written)
• Good command of English (all internal communication is in English)
• A team player eager to support colleagues and the organisation’s mission

The starting salary for this position is CZK 40,500 for full-time employment (40 hours per week, pro-rated for part-time).
