Kazakhstan
Alisher is a human rights lawyer. He works in human rights organizations in Kazakhstan, conducts monitoring and engages in advocacy. Currently, Alisher is the director of the Kazakh human rights organization “Nomad Rights”. He trains activists and human rights defenders from various regions of Kazakhstan in advocacy skills and evaluates the real impact of non-profit projects. His fellowship project focuses on the power of spontaneous civil society coalitions in emergency situations to protect human rights.
