What is VsyoYasno! 2019?

VsyoYasno! (“Всеясно” in Russian, which means “all clear”) – is a workshop that brings together activists, visual artists and creators, giving them an opportunity to meet and work on visually-impactful social projects. Vsyo Yasno, held by Design Bureau Verstak and the Prague Civil Society Center, is designed for activists who want to make a difficult issue accessible to a wide audience and creative professionals interested in working on new social topics.

How does it work?

We will select 8 nonpofits/activists based on their track-record, knowledge of their target audience and motivation to create a new visual product, and partner each of them with an illustrator, designer, or animators who can add value to the campaign. In total, that means 16 participants divided into 8 teams. Each team will work together for 4 days, creating project ideas and prototypes. A group of producers (PR and social media specialists, journalists and bloggers) will also take part, to help choose the right format for the communication product and assist in developing a strategy for its distribution.

The final product can be anything which is engaging and accessible to a wider audience, such as a mobile game about how to behave during a protest, a series of GIFs about an anti-discrimination law, an investigative journalism piece presented as an interactive illustration, or a campaign raising awareness about selective abortions.

Please note, the workshop will be held in Russian language, and participants should be able to work in Russian. However, the campaigns you produce can be in any language you think is the most appropriate to reach your target audience

The best projects will be able to apply for small grants to fund their production.
